I enjoy books featuring Native American characters and look forward to Marquis next book to see if the Saga of Joe Higheagle and his grandfather a medicine man and Chief of the Chyenne.

Very insightful and well thought out and researched. Fiction yes, but fact, I believe so.
Great War fiction. Well written and interesting.
What a great scientific thriller. Earthquakes, gunplay, corporate evildoers, and a great protagonist in Cheyenne geologist Joe Higheagle. I liked this book even more than Marquis' first thriller. I can't wait for the second book in the Higheagle Environmental Sleuth series, The Cluster. Great author's website, with a lot of interesting detail on the books and the inspiration behind Higheagle and his amazing and highly entertaining grandfather, Chief John Higheagle.
very enjoyable reading
As a retired geologist, Marquis spins a conceivable tale about drilling, hydrology, greed, and graft. The bad guys are bad and the good guys are good.
I could only read a couple chapters. A lot like listening to professors who are paid by government to produce predetermined results for grant loot.
Good ideas but bit repetitive. Love a novel with a geological twist took me bad to happy days studying geology. The characters though were a bit ..thin and there were a few grammar mistakes but over all not bad
